Muzak Issues

Hola!

Hi! today a poster to promote Jason's personal music project. I started it long time ago, but I have finished it now... you can listen to the music clicking here: noisewheel.

He also plays in a band called The Mute. They are fans of the Simpsons so I couldn't help to "simpsonize" them. Just a bit of humor... you can see their first concert in the youtube below. Hope you enjoy it!! :)

And by the way, a girl I made up in a little while to get ride of work tensions... :) Love!

"It's Just Another Classical Advert!"

Hello! freelance work and official work don't let me do any new stuff, so I post today an illustration I did that appears in a commercial for Merida's Classical Theater Festival (Spain) by Vida en Marte (http://www.vidaenmarte.com/). I include the youtube links and I hope you like them ( I did a little simple animation for the first one and this closing eyes drawing for the second one)

UNA SI Y UNA NO

Hola!!

Para rellenar, de momento...

Hi !

I don't have time to do anything new and decent to be posted.. so I leave here a couple of ilustrations I did for the Repsol advert. One appears in it, the other one didn't... (some others lost their chance in the way... that's life ;D

hope you like them!!

No featured in the advert: The Odyssey a.k.a."No-one will notice I just saw 300 before doing it..";)

Back from the holidays

Hooola! cuanto tiempo!!
Mil besos

Hello hello! It's been a long time. In this while I have been on holidays! but they haven't been that long... :( they are soo short!! I have been doing things, even more busy during the holidays, I need some more holidays to rest now, hahaha!
Thanks for visiting during this time. I will return them, I promise :)
I post now some drawings done during the holidays. I've been using the DSColors, it's fantastic!! I 'm not too skillful with it yet, but it's very funny, it's great for sketching in the last hours of the day, if you are outdoors, otherways the screen is all grey, and you cannot see anything (the beach drawing was made like that: sun, grey screen, no contrast... that's why the result, hahaha, but I think is fun to try). Took the photos after drawing, to compare... and to make you laugh, I'm sure, hahaha :D
Anyway, hope you like them. And I also include a traditional marker on blankbook sketch too so we don't forget.
thousand kisses!

Mucha's Guerras Gatunas

Hola!

Hellooo!! not very long ago I went to see a Mucha Exhibition here in Madrid. It was impressive! I've always been a fan, but objectively, there are lots of works and it is really interesting.

More or less at the same time the population of our home has been increased by the little blond cat in the picture above. This little thing has entered into conflict with the existing inhabitant, the grey cat in the other picture... wars are theatrical and incredibly funny, unless when they get too annoyed , of course...

All together gave the above posted drawing that I hope you like and Mr. Mucha forgives!! :D

Make love not war!

time travel I

Hola!

Hello! Today, one of those things you did long time ago and that suddenly you feel like posting. A painting, one of those made with real oil and turpentine and brushes... In the time I did it, my computer was a MacIntosh classic, the screen was as large as a business card, hahaha, and image processing was something that you did for TV... out of my reach, at least. And I'm not that old, hahaha.

Well, anyway, Winona (she's sooo beautiful), as Mina in the Coppola film, around 15 years ago...

I still love painting, getting dirty and the espontaneity of the lack of CTRL+Z. You have to try everything as long as it's fun! :D

Rayitas >><< Scribbles

And this is last for tonight... This is my friend's Pablo son, surfing... He sent me a couple of pictures and I wondered: how many times can you see a 5 year old standing on a long board (well, long for him)?? I couldn't resist the temptation of doing some scribbles with the basic PS brush... Obviously the real wave wasn't that big, but taking the idea from master Lasaine, I put him in this green room, to be a bit more daring... it may happen soon... hehe.

Textures in the margins are also PS brushes, not that basic...'course.

Hope you like it...

love!! :D

You can also visit Pablo's website Niti-dos. He and his colleagues do all sorts of nice visual stuff

Another link in the wall

And while I am in this web moment, I will reccomend a new link I found and that I like a lot. Everything is in spanish, so it's just for those who can understand reading it it. It is a funny, cultural and with a wide variety of subjects, site. I highly reccomend it!
Hope you like it! :)

Many many thanks for your comments in my last post!! They got me very up for doing more things! They are very important for me... I am very happy that you liked the art part of it. I will continue posting related illustrations soon. For the moment you can see some in my recently updated website. I leave here the address just in case you would like to take a look at it

Inventamos la rueda...

Hola!! Bueno..cuanto tiempo!

Besos!

Hello! how long!! I finally plug myself in... My health is not what it was, so I have been ill and I had to stop doing things, I didn't even surf the web... But now I'm much better, so I'm back to visit all your sites and to see everything you've done during this time! :)

Before stopping we did a freelance job that became a commercial for Repsol (Oil company) that is now on TV. (see the link below). Illustrations were made by Mr.Plot and me, mainly, with the collaboration of Lidix, Antonio and Hesm. It was a nice experience to see how they turned into "tattoos" :)

As now is on TV I can talk about it, I also post a composition with some of the drawings we did... have a look in general and tell me if you like it...

I wish the retorical question in the end didn't sound ironic...

Doodles in the blank book

:D Besos

** Hello again! I think this one's last .

Some time ago I bought a blank book. It's not a drawing book, not even a sketch book, but it has a Hokusai print on the cover (I love it) and the sheets are soft. So I decided to use it to do some doodles cause I like to touch it. I post here 2 of those... re-discovering the fine marker and the colour pencils ( I got a box as an unexpected xmas gift :)...

I'll stop here for tonight... I'm gonna go around...

Ah.. We have ellections in Spain... I hope the winners try to make our life easier, which is what politics is meant for... and stop bothering each other which doesn't lead anyone anywhere...

:D Love **

MoñeeEcoOooS! PluShieeeEesS!!

Me encantan.

Besos

** You know what happens on Sunday, we have more time so I end up uploading everything in one go... Well, we'll keep it for when there's nothing... :) Surfing through Flickr I found some cool photos of toys and I felt jelous, so I called all my plushies and fluffy toys to get arranged on the sofa to get a picture of them all... I love them, some are missing but I think most of them are here.

The snowboarder, the blue one, the pink one and the yellow pyramid are fully handmade by my friend Dee. He should sell them and he would end up appearing in the stock exchange, hahaha :). Deeeee, you blog yourself NOW!!! ;b

Mr. Plot's blank book

Holaa!

Besos

** Hello! How are you all doing?

I'm posting here a drawing I did this morning for my friend Mr. Plot (don't get mixed up with the "Mr." before the name: he is actually younger than me :). he gave me his blank book and asked me for a drawing. He already did that with some friends of his and work colleagues, and the level was already very high.. I was afraid... I hope he likes it ... and you too... It's all colour pencils, a bit of water to enhance some strokes and that's it, I just digitally added some paper texture, no other digital processing :)

Andrea's table

**And that's all for today, three in one go!! I don't know what has possesed me! hahaha! The thing is I came back from the holidays with loads of rubbish in mind to do drawings and paintings... I don't have much spare time so let's see how long this lasts...

Anyway, these are ideas and sketches for painting the PC table of a friend of mine. She didn't ask for anything in particular, but I imagine it like this: vectorial, plain colours, funny characters... Let's hope she likes one of them, I haven't shown them to her yet. I'll be very glad if you tell me which one you would choose, so I can do some research in the meanwhile, thankyouuu!!! :D **

Daughter

** Another one: this is a drawing I did inspired by the song daughter, by Pearl Jam. I always liked that song and I wanted to draw something about it for a while. You can listen to it pressing play :) Hope you like it! **

Riders

Hola!!

** Hello!!

Here I am again with another little sketch from the snow. I did it from a photo, don't think I do sketches in the snow gondola with gloves on and that cold weather, and all the snow gear on! jejeje hope you like it anyway :)

Another panoramic picture from Whistler is included for getting in the mood... **

May the Inukshuk be your guide...

>>Hola!!

>> Espero actualizar pronto!! Besos!!

*** Helloo! how's everything? I'm back from the holidays!! I enjoyed them a lot!! I had loads of fun and they have been some of the best :D

>> To share a bit of all that I post this composition of stuff: drawings I made there, photos, tickets... I have been playing with the stuff I had, but I didn't know how to fit everything ... there are so many things!! There will be more and I hope you don't get bored...

>> I also post a pan picture, trying its best, but unable to transmit the inmense nature that has dwarfed, swallowed and overwhelmed us all...

>> And a self collective portrait after enjoying the snow (taken with a fisheye cam)...

>> I hope to be able to upload some more little windows to see that world of kind people, delicious ribs and continuous snow made of pure cream... :D

Ratitos

Hola! :D Besos!!

*** Hello! Before going on holidays and in order to post something before next week, I upload these pin-ups (?) that I made up during those lost (short and few) moments at work (I shouldn't say this... ¬¬) I hope to do something better with them when I come back... hugs:D ***

And no one saw the Carny go...

***Hello again! I update the blog today so it doesn't keep a xmas look while we are already working hard (¡?) and going to the january sales... hehehe.

As I don't have much time because of working reasons I am posting an image I already posted in the ISG blog when the subject was painting your lyris, so some of you have already seen it... If you want to listen to the song that inspired me click on the youtube player to get down to it (only the final part, that appears in Wings of desire by Wim Wenders)... (while waiting for loading you could feed Sherekhanny...)

Hope you like it... :) ***

NEW YEAR

Hola! :-)

Hello! I'm finally updating... The freelancing doesn't let me have many leisure moments... see if when I finish I can continue publishing stuff a bit more often... I hope you all had a very Merry Christmas and that the New Year smiles to you all!! :-)

Halloween in the fridge

Hola!

* Hello hello! At last I have a little moment to peep into the blog and publish something... Just some sketches I did after spending Halloween night at the SnowZone in Xanadu (Indoors snow dome close to Madrid)... We are soooo weird... But we laughed a lot... Anyway, some laughs and drawings with any excuse :-) *
